The treatment described below in the processed wastes are composed of household waste, bulky waste, plastics, shredding and industrial waste.
The preparation of the various fractions consists essentially of a size reduction connected with sieving and sifting and drying. Then the processing of the calorific fraction followed by pelleting of secondary material for recycling in the SVZ.

Explanation of the procedure
Basis of the following general process description is the concept for the mechanical waste treatment with fuel production. In the mechanical residual waste treatment facility, waste is separated in terms of material and energy characteristics and treated.
The system concept is based on following steps:

• Adoption of sorting and loading
• crushing of the coarse fraction
• Classification
• Separation Fe-/NE- metals
• crushing of the middle fraction
• thermal drying process
• screening into coarse and fine fraction
• screening
• Pelleting
• use in gasification plants
